I love fall the leaves are just so pretty! I love every thing about fall! I love the cold air in the mornings, wearing sweaters, wearing boots. I just love fall. Gods nature truly is beautiful! Here is a verse for your day!

Psalm 104:19
He made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down.

Broken

Yesterday I was reading Too Small To Ignore Why The Least Of These Matters Most by: Dr. Wess Stafford President of compassion international. This book is a really inspirational book that changes your view on children. Children are not the future they are now they are here. I will do a review on the book as soon as I finish the book. Now let me start todays blog post its about broken hearts. "Wess, I avoided coming to visit the poor with you for a long time. I was afraid my heart would be broken by their condition. Instead, today, I found my heart broken by my condition" Ken Davis said while on a mission trip with Dr. Wess Stafford. This quote is very accurate I knew my heart would be broken for the people when I went to Uganda but I didn't know how much it would break me. I broke my heart in Uganda in the best  way possible. I broke my heart because I loved soooo much. You can truly say you have loved when you love until your heart is broken. My heart broke with compassion. I had blinders on because I live such a great life I  never truly realized what was happening around the world until I saw it. It stayed broken I'm glad my heart stayed broken! I never want this feeling in me to leave! I don't want to have a callused heart.

Make a difference

I want to change the world. I want to make a difference. I want to be the change. i want to love the unloved. I want to make orphans not orphans. I need to reword all of these things. Instead of saying I want I should be saying I WILL or I NEED TO. Being a change is not something that we want to do it is something we need to do. Not every one will impact the world in the same way. My passion is for Uganda and especially the children there.

Katie Davis quote

The quote i justed added in is a great quote to remember that you can do mission work any where if your open to what God wants you to do. Right now God is pulling my heart towards Uganda a place I feel at home. I love the quote " You will never be completly at home again, because part of your heart will always be elsewhere. That is the price you pay for the richness of loving and knowing people in more than one place." I absolutely love that quote. Every one can make a difference. I challenge you to make a difference. God is calling YOU to make a difference!

I WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Arthur

I'm writing this post today about a little boy who changed my life. On Tuesday morning a sweet little baby went to be in the arms of Jesus. The little boys name was Arthur. I never have met Arthur but I was looking forward to meeting him when I went back to Uganda to serve on a GO team at the Gem foundation (where Arthur lived.) Many people have fallen in love with this precious gift from God! Arthur made and impact on this world in his short life. He was only 3 or 4 months old. He captured your heart from the moment you heard about him! I loved hearing how Arther was! The moment I heard about him passing away I was heart broken and so were many others! Please pray for Emma the person who started the Gem foundation. I know Emma is having a difficult time with his passing! You can read Emma blog by copying and pasting this http://emonamission.blogspot.com into your search engine or by clicking on it. Please keep The Gem Foundation in your prayers as they are going through these hard times!

This is Arthur. Isn't he precious.

A great quote from the book radical.

This quote is also from the author of radical!

Love one another

John 13:34-35New International Version (NIV)

34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

SERVE

Tonight I decided to write about a conversation I had recently. The conversation was about why not just send the money to help people in other countries instead of going. The person said you could feed tons of people and cloth them with all that money. But all i could think about was  I couldn't love them they need love! yes i could feed the kids in the orphanage for awhile if i sent that money but they long for love!!!! many kids are left in cribs all day in Uganda!!! People need love!!! most people don't understand why I went I know people thought you can play with babies here!! kids in the united states are taken care of there are plenty of places they can go but in third world countries theirs really no where. I know every one is not called to Uganda or even a third world country but i encourage you not to just give your money but to go serve someone else it could be in a different country it could be a different state it could be just a different county or could just be right across the street. The truth is every one needs love and every one needs at least a little help! *EXCITING NEWS I'VE ALMOST RAISED ALL MY MONEY TO GO BACK TO UGANDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
