Luke  2:8-14

8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

Christmas

Time for the Christmas cheer!

Luke 2

The Birth of Jesus
1 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while[a] Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.
4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING ! I HOPE EVERY ONE IS HAVING AN AWESOME THANKSGIVING AND EATING A BUNCH OF FOOD (Eat a piece of turkey and pie for me.)

Psalm 92

A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day.
1 It is good to praise the LORD
and make music to your name, O Most High,
2 proclaiming your love in the morning
and your faithfulness at night,
3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre
and the melody of the harp.
4 For you make me glad by your deeds, LORD;
I sing for joy at what your hands have done.
5 How great are your works, LORD,
how profound your thoughts!
6 Senseless people do not know,
fools do not understand,
7 that though the wicked spring up like grass
and all evildoers flourish,
they will be destroyed forever.
8 But you, LORD, are forever exalted.
9 For surely your enemies, LORD,
surely your enemies will perish;
all evildoers will be scattered.
10 You have exalted my horn[b] like that of a wild ox;
fine oils have been poured on me.
11 My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries;
my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.
12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree,
they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
13 planted in the house of the LORD,
they will flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They will still bear fruit in old age,
they will stay fresh and green,
15 proclaiming, “The LORD is upright;
he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.”

Berry Delicious

Check out these delicious cupcakes that I perfected in my kitchen!  You can make them too.  I will give you all the details.

First, make a batch of Duncan Hines French Vanilla cupcakes according to package.
Allow cupcakes to cool.

While the cupcakes are cooling, make the blackberry fillling.
Get out a pan and melt 4 tablespoons of butter.  Then add 4 tablespoons of sugar over low heat.
Next add several handfuls of blackberries, fresh or frozen.
Then add jam of your choice, such as blackberry, raspberry, or grape.  Use about 1/2 cup of jam.  Add more sugar if needed, according to your tastes.
Allow to cool.
Blackberry Filling

Next, cut out a circle of cake from the center of each cupcake.  Then spoon in the filling.  Replace cupcake centers.  Top the cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.  Garnish each cupcake with a blackberry and drizzle some juice.
